The causes we find, in order
Biofilm on the evaporator coil
Dust plus condensate grows a layer across the fins that both smells and blocks airflow. A proper service takes the cover off and cleans the coil face, which a filter wash alone cannot reach.
Contaminated drain pan and line
Standing water in the pan turns stagnant and pushes the smell out through the supply air. We flush and sanitise the line as part of the same visit.
Loaded blower wheel
Dust cakes onto each blade of the squirrel-cage fan and quietly halves the air it moves. Cleaning the wheel restores airflow that people usually blame on low gas.
Filters past washing
Mesh filters clog permanently once the coating breaks down, and washing them again achieves nothing. We tell you when a filter needs replacing rather than rinsing it and moving on.

How often should an AC be serviced in Dubai?
Twice a year for a unit that runs most of the year, and before summer at minimum. Regular AC maintenance in Dubai matters because the dust load here is far higher than the manufacturer assumed.
What does a service actually include?
Far more than a quick AC cleaning in Dubai: coil and blower clean, drain pan and line flushed and sanitised, filters washed or replaced, gas pressure checked, electrical connections checked and tightened, and the cooling cycle tested before we leave.
